British Ceramics Biennial Festival

PP2 and Prep 3 visited the British Ceramics Biennial Festival yesterday. The exhibits display a range of artists who use clay to produce their work. The winning artist will be announced on Friday.

The children were able to go around the exhibits and see first-hand the artist’s work. It was interesting to hear the different opinions of the children for each piece!

The children were able to see the process of how clay is actually made, and they were able to see the different stages of this. Finally they were able to make a piece of clay work either inspired by what they had seen or just an idea of their own.
