Lenten Fundraising Week for Prep Three

The children of P3 will embark on their week of Lenten Fundraising.

Children are asked to conform into groups and the decide how they will help raise money for our chosen charities.

They will set up their stalls and sell home-made cakes, pop corn or other delicious treats or they may decide to design a game or competition, for example, 'Guess how many sweeties in the jar', 'Guess the name of the teddy', 'Pin the tail on the donkey' or perhaps 'Guess the weight of the cake' - If your child has taken part in previous years then I am sure that they will have lots of exciting ideas.

Children from Reception to Prep Six are able to bring in a small amount of money to make a purchase during the week. Please note that this is to your discretion and Lenten Fundraising is not a compulsory event.

It may be wise to discuss in a firm manner with your child so that the forthcoming Lenten weeks do not equate into a huge expense if they are asking for money on a daily basis.

Please encourage your child to save their money and to not be spendthrift, even though the monies raised go to good causes.

Thank you for your continued support.
