February 2009 - With the arrival of Lent there has been plenty going on this week and the children will be continuing to be involved in the weeks to come.

On Tuesday many of the children celebrated the start of Lent with pancake races (well oatcakes to be precise - they have a much greater durability! Year 6 were also involved in helping to lead our Ash Wednesday service and we would like to thank Reverend Neil for finding the time to lead our service. The next four weeks will see all the children involved in Lenten activities, the money from which will go with that collected on our Family Fast day on Friday 6th March.

3rd February 2009  - The whole school came together today in our Christingle service. All the children from Nursery to Prep 6 had made their Christingles and brought them together to light them to remind us of Jesus being the Light of the World and think about how we can be more like him. Prep 6 led our thoughts and prayers and many thanks to those parents who were able to attend and take part in this service.
