Introduction

Welcome to Joe's Club. We are an after school club.

Our Club offers a warm and friendly environment for children aged between 3 and 12 years, where children can play, make friends or just relax in safe secure surroundings.

Joe's Club is open to all pupils at St Joseph's Preparatory School and provision will be made for children with special needs.

Our Aims

Are to provide a child-centred children's club which embraces play worker values in a safe environment, where each child will pursue recreational, leisure and educational activities and which enables parents to pursue careers.

Our Objectives

·       To maintain a child:staff ratio of 1:8 for all children.

·       To make welfare of the child paramount.

·       To ensure all staff are aware of, and adhere to the club's policies and play worker values.

·       To create a stimulating environment with well planned activities, which cater for a wide range of interests and ability levels.  Activities need to promote development of the child and need to be a source of fun.

·       To meet all statutory requirements with regards to children, staffing, premises, record keeping, equipment and health and safety.
