Curriculum: Introduction

A balanced curriculum emphasizes the acquisition of excellent basic skills in Reading, English, Mathematics and Science.  These are complemented by Design Technology, History, Geography, Religious Education, Music, Art, Physical Education, French and Italian. All of which are an important part of our curriculum. 

Latin and Classics are also offered as part of the curriculum for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.  Latin provides a very good basis for Literacy and the development of language.

Information and Communication Technology is also a part of the curriculum. All pupils make use of our ICT Suite. This includes an interactive white board and allows individual access to computers monitored by our qualified staff.

A structured reading scheme is also in operation in each class offering a variety of reading materials.
