I hope that you all had a good half term?
I have just returned from our early morning stretching and dancing session led by Mr Ferris as part of our PSHCE week. What fun! Everyone was enjoying themselves and taking part; a super way to start the day!
Welcome back to Miss Simpson who is back following the birth of Jayden.
Welcome also to new pupils that have joined the school we hope that you soon feel part of our school family.
We have a busy week planned for PSHCE week with a theme on Healthy Living and Healthy Life styles.
We have lots of visitors coming into school to help us think about being healthy and living well.
We have our annual Pancake races on Tuesday; so we hope that everyone has been practising their tossing!?
Class photographs are being taken on Wednesday followed by Mass for Ash Wednesday led by Father Rob at St Teresa’s Church at 2pm.
Don’t forget that it is the Pre Prep Lenten Toy sale on Friday which is an opportunity for parents to have a good sort out-although I know that having sent in old toys, other toys arrive in their place!
Friday also sees the PTA disco form 6-30pm until 8-00pm. We look forward to seeing the children there. (Nursery children do need to be accompanied by an adult).
Next week sees P6 leading the Lent fund raising activities: our main charity this year is “ Walking with the Wounded “-we are currently following Martin Hewitt and the team as they prepare to climb Mount Everest. http://walkingwiththewounded.org.uk/
