Week Beginning 16/01/2011

Over the past few days we have been following the Youth Olympics where Jasmine Sawyers - a former pupil is currently competing in the Bobsleigh Competition. We wish her all the best, and whilst Mr Ferris cannot be complemented on his “Bobsleigh” teaching I am sure that the other physical education skills that Mr Ferris taught have had an impact on Jasmin’s current prowess!

This week is the RSPB World’s Biggest Bird Watch so the Nature Club is busy bird watching around the school. We seem to have a lot of magpies and are currently watching a magpie nest.

On Monday 16th January PP1 and PP2 are visiting Ford Green Hall where we will be involved in some story telling activities.

It is Nurse Drop-In on Tuesday between 3-4pm. The school Nurse is available to have a confidential chat about anything that might be worrying you about your child. No appointment is necessary so please feel free to pop into the school office.

PTA meeting at Trentham Hotel 7-30pm on Wednesday 18th January. Do come along and support the work of the PTA.
