This week we are off timetable for PSHCE (Physical, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) week. There are many different learning experiences planned including visits from the School Nurse to talk about tooth care and personal hygiene, the Fire Service and the local MP.
All reports were issued last week and Prep children have completed their "self-assessments". Teachers are available this week for Parent Consultaion Evenings; your appointments should have been made through your child's class teacher.
It is the last swimming session for P3 and P4 on Thursday; apologies that last week's session had to be cancelled due to events at Fenton Manor.
On Friday we are taking part, a little prematurely, in "Earth Hour" when we are going to switch every electrical item off for one hour at 1.00pm to focus on the effects of climate change. This is a world wide event scheduled for Saturday 27th March at 8.30pm. You might wish to get involved and if so, visit wwf.org.uk/earthhour for more information.
Also on Friday 26th March, there will be the School Disco from 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Advance reminder that on Tuesday March 30th it is the Sponsored Spell and on the last day of term, Wednesday 31st March it is a non-uniform day and the Pre-Prep Easter Bonnet Parade.
