We had a busy week last week with the swimmers competing to a very high standard. Mr Ferris says that this was the best performance that we have ever put in. There were some super overall performances with our school being the smallest school to compete. We proudly came away in 3rd place in the Midlands region which is very commendable. Well done to all who took part. One pupil has been selected to represent the Midlands ISA Swimming Team at the National ISA Gala on Saturday 20th November . This is very good news.
Unfortunately the Ladies Evening scheduled for Sunday 14th November has had to be cancelled due to lack of numbers.
Next week is an equally busy week and we ask that you keep the school in your thoughts and prayers as we have an Independent Schools Inspection part 2 taking place at the beginning of the week until the end of the day on Wednesday.
The PTA Annual General Meeting takes place in the school hall at 7.30 pm on Wednesday 17th November. Please do come along and support the PTA.
Please can I remind everyone that we are joining the Operation Christmas Child shoe box scheme again. Please could we have them in for the end of the week; as yet we have got a small pile in school to send and would really like to be able to send some more. Leaflets are available from Mrs Pickford. It really is quite fun to do as well as bringing joy to a child less fortunate than our own.
Diary date: Tuesday 23rd November is P5 assembly. Parents welcome for a 3.00pm start in the school hall.
