On Monday, Reception and Key Stage 1 went to St Teresa's Church and prayed the Stations of the Cross with Father Rob. Everyone listened well and took part and at the end there were some very thought provoking questions from the children: "Why does Jesus like us so much?"and "Why did they put that prickly hat on Jesus' Head?" to name but two qustions.
P5 and P6 took part in Bikeability on Tuesday and Wednesday. The children brought their own bikes to learn about being safe when riding.
Nobody attended the Drop-in Clinic on Wednesday with School Nurse Carmel Smith. The next one will be on 29 April.
There was a Netball match at Stafford Grammar after School on Wednesday.
On Thursday it was World Book Day and we thought about our favourite books and authors. Mrs Hutchinson continued to read "James and the Giant Peach" in assembly.
Our ever-popular Fair Trade stall continued on Friday following a time of reflection on the Journey of Jesus through Lent to Easter called "A Crown for Christ". This week the whole school reflected on Jesus washing his disciples' feet and we thought about how we can serve each other and humble ourselves.
P5 lenten activities have gone really well this week. In addition some P6 girls have used their initiative and have sent money raised from their independent stalls to Charity for Pancreatic Cancer and Bulgarias Abandoned Children.
