We had great fun last week in Design Technology week with some wonderful designs being planned, made, tested and evaluated. The Lego workshop proved a great success - I never realised just how many different pieces of Lego were available. It was good to see children and teachers all busy concentrating on building together and creating such wonderful scenes.
We were pleased to appoint Miss Grice to our staff team for September when she will be teaching the Reception class. The new Reception class will be able to meet her on Monday 28th June when we have our "Move Up" day. Everyone will be moving up into their new classes for September for a taster day.
Parents are invited at 7pm in the evening to meet staff as children move from: Nursery to Reception; Reception to Pre Prep1; Pre Prep 2 to Prep3; and Prep 5 to Prep 6 and beyond.
Last week's Dress Rehearsal went well and sounded very good. Our Prep Prize giving is on Friday 2nd July at 7-00pm at the Stoke Rep. Veronica Swynnerton, representing the Father Hudson Homes, is coming to distribute the prizes.
The Rounders team are out on Wednesday playing Dixie Grammar School. We wish them well.
On Friday 2nd July, Nursery and Reception are off out exploring - I hope that they have a lovely day.
