Welcome back after the half-term break (please take care in the snow and icy conditions - again!) and welcome to this new page on our website. This Headteacher's Blog will be updated on a weekly basis to keep you informed about news and events in our School.
Our Lenten fundraising begain this week with P6 who were full of lots of ideas and created new stalls to raise money for the charities we support. The teachers did very well too and won quite a few Easter eggs!
On Tuesday the Nature Club went to the Potteries Museum with Mrs Hutchinson and Mr Ferris to look at various animals including foxes, badgers and squirrels, and then the children made some beautiful masks to take home. This trip was enjoyed by all: we learned a lot; the children asked lots of sensible questions; and we had the opportunity to look at and touch some of the animals from the museum.
Class photos were a great success on Thursday and we look forward to seeing lots of smiling faces.
CAFOD Family Fast Day on Friday gave us an opportunity to reflect on those less fortunate than ourselves as part of our Lenten activities and donate some money to the work of CAFOD.
